Hybrids 2016

HYBRIDS 2016

Callaway Apex Hybrids

The Callaway Apex hybrids are available in 2H-5H the new Apex Hybrid is built with a relatively long blade length and neutral CG for players who desire enhanced work ability and control.

A forged face cup improves rebound and ball speeds at impact for longer distance. A Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black graphite shaft comes standard in a variety of flexes.

The Titleist 816 Hybrid

The 816H hybrids come in two models, labeled H1 and H2  are now available  with a $269 price tag.  The hybrid club is very versatile club and offers a high performance choice over long irons.

Both models have Titleist's "Active Recoil Channel," a long, deep slot in the sole just behind the club face that lets the face flex more at impact. Ultra thin face technology with means low spin, more ball speed. It also helps protect ball speed for shots struck lower on the face.

The moment of inertia (forgiveness) is 7-percent higher in the H1 than in Titleist's previous generation 915H model (the H2 has a similar MOI to the 915Hd).

Titleist 816 H1

These are higher-launching with a focus on distance and have a larger profile (bigger club head). An increased face progression helps with shots out of the rough.

Titleist 816 H2

A smaller club head will probably appeal to better players; they have a slight offset. Good fit for golfers who swing more aggressively and have more turf interaction. Also produce a flatter ball flight than the H1.

The Titleist 816H hybrids have gray crowns with black faces and soles. Both models come in lofts of 19, 21, 23 and 25 degrees, plus there is a 27-degree H1
